Lambert is the commander of the garrison paid by the warden Nazaire. Lambert is a veteran and comes from an old local family. He’s been in the castles’ service since the wars ended. He knows pretty much everyone in the town and sees a lot. Truth be told, there’s a lot going on now that he doesn’t like. He’s a little older than lady Eleanor and was a contemporary of her husband Raymond. What a man! What a loss
